As an Indo-Western fusion brand, Indifusion represents exactly this identity. Of people who straddle two worlds, two ways of seeing the world. They add their own unique ideas to the mix, creating something entirely new. 'Flaunt Your Indi' taps into the increasing visibility of Indian styles and influences on global fashion. It celebrates Indian colours and textures with a modern sense of swagger and pride.
When bringing the idea alive, we felt the less explored wide open, rugged spaces of Ladakh offered us a unique opportunity to showcase the brand. Bringing their own sense of unique new Indianness, the Ladakhi people are a perfect combination of rootedness and modernity. They also represent a connectedness with the land. Phontsong, our Ladakhi model who is also a dancer, embodied all of these qualities beautifully for us. The textured spaces, the minimal palette and the awe-inspiring landscape only heightened the rich colours and innovative lines of our collections.
