Reconnect 1.0

This is a store brand for the largest digital retail chain in India, with over a 1000 stores. Spanning a product-line from home entertainment to high-tech gadgets. All the way to kitchen appliances and accessories. Where did we start? At the beginning with a brand name and a logo.

The Brand Name

Right at the outset we knew what every fibre in our body wanted to do. Talk technology till it hurts. But then a tiny little voice reminded us, ‘We are not selling technology. We are bridging the gap between the consumer’s real and digital life’. The proposition: ‘Reconnect with the world, with technology’. The brand name: ReConnect

Brand Identity

The Reliance brand identity would have to have an overarching influence on the logo design itself. So we used the ‘Re’ in the name as a coupling with the parent brand. The complete logo itself balances the worlds that ‘connect’, and revisits that connection upon itself.

Packaging Design

The design architecture for this brand was unique. The ambient philosophy was ‘Reconnect with your natural self’, a deterministic will to connect with the customer’s need. The corrugated cardboard boxes told the story. As did the bits of advice in large type on the back of the cartons.
